Title: Spiced Banana Coffee Ring

1/2cButter; melted (1 stick)
2/3cSugar, dark brown; firmly packed
2/3cAlmonds, sliced; (2 2/3 oz)
2lgBananas, ripe; mashed
1lgEggs; lightly beaten
1/4cSugar
2cBaking mix
1/3cMilk
1 3/4tsCinnamon
1/2tsNutmeg

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a 9-cup Bundt pan.

Pour 1/4 cup of melted butter into prepared pan. Sprinkle 1/3 cup of brown sugar and 1/3 cup of nuts evenly over butter.

Mix together mashed bananas, egg, and granulated sugar. Stir in baking mix and milk.

Mix together remaining brown sugar and nuts, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Spoon half of banana mixture into prepared pan. Top with brown sugar-spice mixture. Drizzle with remaining melted butter. Spoon over remaining banana mixture. Smooth top.

Bake cake until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean, 25 minutes. Immediately invert pan onto a serving plate for 3 to 4 minutes, allowing syrup to drizzle over cake. Remove pan. Cool cake slightly.

Baking Tips: For variety, add 1 cup semisweet chocolate morsels or shredded sweetened coconut to the banana mixture.
